Öinen vaahtokarkkikaupunki / Night at Marshmallow Town
20 x 30 cm
Aurinko näyttäytyi Helsingissä marraskuun aikana 13 tunnin ajan, jossakin muualla vielä vähemmän. Karkoittaakseni harmaan maalasin akryyleillä ja öljyväriliiduilla öisen vaahtokarkkikaupungin.
Tänä aamuna näki sumun leijuvan katulamppujen hohteessa, lämmintä, kosteaa. Ihastelen Aimariin lumisia kotimaisemia (kuva Aimariin luvalla), silti en kaipaa lunta.

We had sun for 13 hours in November here in Helsinki. To shake off grayness, I painted with acrylics and oil pastels this Night at Marshmallow Town.
This morning I saw fog floating in the light of street lamps. It was beautiful. My blogger friend Aimarii lives in northern Finland and her winter is so different from mine. It’s also beautiful, but still, I don’t miss snow. I asked and got the permission to show Aimarii’s blue moment here.
Happy PPF!
Helsinki this morning.
Blue moment at Aimarii’s place
I see the town, but I don’t see any marshmallows, Susu. Did YOU eat ALL of them? : O
Of course I ate them before you’d get here, Mick!!
Beautiful art and photos. It looks sooo cold on that snow photo! Valerie
And it is cold, Valerie, much more colder than in Helsinki!
Love your art and photos. Happy PPF, Annette x

Happy PPF, Annette!
We often wake up to gray here in Seattle too. yet, we don’t have it quite like you. Painting with so much intense color really brightens the soul on those gray days. Beautiful work.
Marji, I have the feeling that the climate in Seattle is much like in Helsinki, let’s fight back with colors!!
Your art looks Lovely! (great to shake off the gray) The photos of the winter in the 2 regions are quite awesome. Thanks for visiting and leaving the comment 🙂
Finland is a long country, it contains all kind of weather, Deepa Gopas Sunil.
Hieno ja maukas kaupunki.
Kerrassaan namu, RaijaAnnikki!
On hyvä paeta maalaukseen. Värit kädessä ei ehdi ulos katsoa. Herkullinen maalaus!
UUna, alkuviikosta täälläkin oli pari aurinkoista päivää, tuntui ihan keväiseltä!
Beautiful and intriguing painting!
Denthe, thank you.
Lovely piece! We are in our summer so it is bright bright! Even our winters are colourful, makes me thankful! Lovely photos.
Sharon, enjoy your bright days!!
Love your marshmallows! ♥♥♥
Mick tends to eat all my sweets, Robin, but this time I hid the marshmallows!
Stunning piece….I just love how the green, pink and black are married in this artwork! I LOVE IT!!
Hugs Giggles
I love the combination of green and pink, Annette, combining odd colors is fun.
The color mix and texture looks beautiful! Happy PPF!
Thank you, Abigail!
